“I want to play in MLS at least one season” says Neymar Jr

30-year-old Brazilian star has contract with PSG until 2006 and sees MLS with good eyes for the future

Hosted by soccer legend Ronaldo and Brazilian streamer Gaules, the ‘Fenomenos’ podcast became a hot topic this weekend after hosting the Brazilian star of Paris Saint-Germain and Brazil National Team, Neymar Jr. Ronaldo, or ‘Fenomeno’, as he is known, asked the 30-year-old ace if he would like to end his career in Brazil, his native country, and Neymar’s answer was surprising:

“I have my doubts about returning to play in Brazil. I do not know. Sometimes I want to, sometimes I don’t. I really want to play in the United States, at least one season. The championship is short, so it’s 3 or 4 months of vacation.” – Neymar Jr

The Brazilian also said during the interview that he would like to live in the United States because the sport is not the most popular in the country, which would give him the chance to enjoy life more with his son, Davi Lucca, who is currently 10 years old. Meanwhile, Ronaldo stated that his favorite outing during his vacations is going to Universal Park in Orlando with his daughters. Where if not as popular as in other countries.

Neymar has many friends in the United States, such as Odell Beckham Jr, the Los Angeles Rams wide receiver who just won the SuperBowl. He also considers himself a big fan of the NBA’s Los Angeles Lakers.

Neymar has a contract with PSG until 2026, when he will be 34 years old. According to the player, he thinks about playing soccer until his mental health can handle the pressure and that physically he thinks his body would last until he’s 40.
