For the first time this season, the New York Red Bulls won two matches in a row across all competitions
After a turbulent week with the departure of the now former head coach Gerhard Struber due to poor results and replaced by Troy Lesesne, the New York Red Bulls were able to pull a win by 1-0 against New York City Saturday (11), at the Red Bull Arena.
Bronx native Omir Fernandez was responsible for the lone goal in the second half that secured three points for the Red Bulls. The club now sits in 14th place in the Eastern Conference with 12 points. New York City appears four positions up with 15 points.
