Fate had it that Lionel Messi’s inaugural MLS regular season game with Inter Miami took place at the Red Bull Arena, facing off against the New York Red Bulls. With a crowd of over 26,000 spectators present, Inter Miami clinched a 2-0 victory. Notably, Messi’s presence lit up the match as he elegantly netted a goal, assisted by an incredible pre-assist pass from the Argentine maestro himself.

In the face of their matchup with Inter Miami, the New York Red Bulls found themselves without the services of strikers Lewis Morgan and Dante Vanzeir. This absence was palpable as the home team struggled to mount a significant offensive threat against the visiting side. Now, their focus shifts to a crucial game against the New England Revolution on the upcoming Wednesday (30) at the Gillette Stadium, where a victory is imperative to sustain their hopes of reaching the playoffs this season.
