Marcos has a desire to remain in the New England Revolution, however, he awaits a possible permanent purchase by the club to remain in New England. The Revolution has priority at 50% of the player if it exercises the purchase option agreed in the initial contract between Vasco and the MLS club.
For Revolution II in 2022 he started 11 of the 12 games in which he was available and scored 5 goals in total, becoming the team’s top scorer in the competition.
In Brazil, Marcos played at the academy for Vasco da Gama and Palmeiras, where he won the Copa do Brasil U20, Club World Cup U17 and Super Cup U20.
