It wasn’t pretty but the New York Red Bulls were able to build a comeback win against the Columbus Crew this past Saturday (18) at the Red Bull Arena where the club were celebrating the Women’s Empowerment Night.
After a miscommunication between the goalkeeper Carlos Coronel and his centerback Andrés Reyes, the Crew were able to capitalize with the midfielder Alexandru Matan in the first half.
With the score showing 0 – 1, the Red Bulls saw their designated players step up and score important goals for the team secure their first home win of the season.
