The New York Red Bulls found themselves dominating the match against FC Cincinnati last Tuesday (23) at the Red Bull Arena but failed to find the back of Cincy’s net and ended up out of the US Open Cup with a 5-3 loss in the penalty kicks after a 1-1 draw.
Cincinnati open the score with a goal by Yaya Kubo close to the end of the first half. Dante Vanzeir equalized for the New York Red Bulls close to the end of regulation but missed his opportunity in the penalty kicks therefore the Red Bulls saw themselves eliminated from the US Open Cup.
